General Info
Part of a Hop Union effort coordinated through the Brew Hut to have several brewers make pale ales that showcase a single hop that hasn't been released for general consumption.
I chose Australian Summer, a Saaz derivative that "provides distinctive light apricot and melon fruit notes nicely balanced by a background hop character."
With this in mind, I decided to concentrate on late hopping to showcase the flavor and aroma characteristics. In all, 7 ounces of Australian Summer will be used.
Let the experiment begin.
4/1/12: went lacto on me. Dumped it all. What the hell?
